The preserve is a well-loved natural area nestled in among farmland, resorts, and protected lands. Marked Trails that borders the north shore of Lake Evangeline with a small dock overlooks. Uplands with a diversity of hardwoods and scattered evergreens. Unique flora in the bog which is a special type of wetland seldom found in the lower peninsula.
