Tannery Beach is a public access which is increasingly being used as an entry point for kayaks and canoes. In the winter months, it offers easy access to the lake for ice fisherman and snowmobilers. A popular place for dog lovers, this beach is frequently used for taking the family pet swimming on those hot summer days. (Doggie bags and scoopers are available for owners to clean up after their dogs.) Although not the typical white, sandy beach, this is a great place to relax, swim, and enjoy a great view of Lake Charlevoix!
