There are 16 designated sites and a group area that can accommodate a maximum of 108 individuals. Both camping options can accommodate tents and small trailers. The campground includes vault toilets and potable water from a well-hand pump. There is also a submersible pump that requires a 5,000 watt generator to run.
The state forest campground is a stop along the Sshore-to-Shore Trail, a 420-mile trail system open to hiking and horseback riding, that stretches east-west from Empire to Oscoda with two additional northern and southern spur trails.
