The Halladay-Blackhurst-Chowning preserve is a preserve in transition. A pretty little trail moves through hardwood forest while skirting red pine plantations and open field. A kiosk explains property details including the transition of pine plantations to hardwood forest as well as the property’s history and connection to the famous “Adams Dry Fly”.
