Beaches

This park is located at the entrance to the Betsie Lake. It provides a public Lake Michigan beach at the west end of Main street (downtown). This beach is a well-used space that attracts many visitors. Benches provide accessible seating options, and ADA walkways allow access to the
beach. 

The main focal point of this park, and perhaps the entire town, are the twin piers and lighthouse that extend into Lake Michigan and create Frankfort Harbor. These structures are under the jurisdiction of the Army Corps of Engineers, and even though they are not designed for public access, walking down the pier to the lighthouse is a favorite Frankfort experience.
