Cheboygan State Park is open year round and has a system of well-marked trails that provide access to scenic Lake Huron vistas and glimpses of rare wildflowers. Visitors have their choice of lodging, with modern camping, rustic cabins, tepees and a fully-furnished modern lodge. A carry-in boat launch is located on Duncan Bay and fishing is available both on the bay and on Elliot Creek. The shallow, clear water at the beach is ideal for children to enjoy splashing around.
