This property encompasses a small, beautiful lake and associated wetlands. A limited trail system suited for passive recreation exists on the property. This Natural Area is a piece of undeveloped property where the natural environment of our area can be preserved and enjoyed. The Natural Area is a home to many frogs, fish, birds and other wildlife that depend on wetlands and the forest that would be greatly disturbed by development. There is no swimming or camping at Bullhead Lake but enjoying the beautiful scenery provided by Mother Nature is permitted.
The Natural Area access point is inconspicuously marked by a sign on Edgewood Avenue off of North Long Lake Road.
